Section IX

Council Duties/Responsibilities/Guidelines:

-=AGX=- Council has been formed to insure the following:
1. Uphold and insure members abide by the Code of Conduct
2. Lead the clan in the direction of which it’s members debate and vote upon
3. Protect the Rights of all Members

Council Meetings:

Meetings shall take place Each Tuesday of Each Week at 8:00 P.M. EST on -=AGX=- TeamSpeak
All Council meetings are open to active members
(Members are asked to remain quiet until Question and Answer session occurs at the end of each meeting)

Council Term:
Council Elections every 6 (six) months
Current Council seat limit is 7 (Seven) members
All members must be voted in to Council by the clan members
Any current Council member may re apply at the end of their term
Term limits are infinite (based Upon Vote Results)
Any Council member who elects to re apply Must be voted in by clan members at each election

Council Member Responsibility:
Council members should convey themselves in a positive and professional manner at all times, given that they are human, Council members will make mistakes, Please bear in mind – Council members Do NOT get paid, nor receive additional benefits for their duties. Members of Council perform their duty to the best of their ability, and abide by the same rules and regulations as regular members.

Although attendance to weekly meetings is NOT mandatory (due to real life situations) it is recommended that a conscientious effort be made to attend. Please show courtesy and respect by posting (or at least informing another council member) if you will not be able to attend. Be advised: Decisions and topics discussed or resolved in your absence will not be altered due to your lack of attendance

Members have the right to post a ‘Vote of No Confidence’ within the forums (JAG Section – Member Advocate) at any time upon any Council member which they have evidence of not performing their duties or upholding their responsibility.
