Rcon Procedures / Protocol:

Warn / Kick / Ban Process
When occasion arises, for the required kick or ban of individuals whom are not following
the rules and/or disrespecting our servers, (i.e.: foul language, hackusations, unwanted
team or voice chat content, etc..) please follow the guidelines as stated below:



Warn: Use the Rcon command to warn the player of the infraction (\rcon say)
(this may take more than one attempt due to game play and various factors, so please post a message
that would likely be responded to insure the player has received the message, Remember – Please and Thank You go a long way in defusing situations and changing attitudes)


Kick:
If the player persists after the warning, use the Rcon command to kick them
from the server (\rcon clientkick [ID])


Ban:
If the player returns, and continues with the actions he/she was kicked for,
use the Rcon command to ban the player from the server (\rcon banClient [ID])
(Please notify server admins, via the forums (Pub Management) as soon as possible)
Your emotions and/or mood may have a bearing upon your actions in dealing with the general public, in the event You are having a bad night or for some reason in a bad mood – PLEASE: DO NOT allow this to affect your use of Rcon –
Remember: When using Rcon – You are representing the clan as a whole


Rcon Password
The Rcon password is NOT to be given to ANY member/person under ANY
circumstance – please inform the person requesting such, to speak to the individual from
whom you received it


Rcon is Not for Personal Use
Please DO NOT use Rcon as a way of communicating to puber's. If you have something
to say to a puber, then do it yourself. RCON logs are frequently reviewed by server
admins, and the necessary steps will be taken to enforce the usage guidelines


Map Rotation
Map rotation is NOT to be altered
In the event there is a problem with a map (i.e.: looping, loading incorrectly, glitches,
etc..) it is acceptable to rotate the map forward using Rcon (\rcon map_rotate)

Be Forewarned: if this occasion arises and you elect to change the rotation, consequences may in sue if complaints are brought before council



Abuse / Warning Process
1st Warning: Written warning shall be issued to member
2nd Warning: 2 Week ban of member’s Rcon privilege
3rd Warning: Permanent Revocation of member’s Rcon privilege


Please Remember: You are Representing the Clan as a Whole When Using Rcon
Rcon is a Privilege – Not a Right
